Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gold dragons are known to take great interest in shiny objects. Patience is no exception! Having been playful and social with her nestmates as a hatchling, it was thus particularly peculiar when at one point she wasn't seen near her friends for several days.

After searching for the missing young dragoness (one needn't look too hard for Golds; their bright scales tend to make for poor camouflage), she was discovered at the edge of a lush rainforest. Patience was fixated on something at the base of a towering tree that was dressed lushly in lianas. Lo and behold, she had discovered a Pollia condensata, or marble berry plant, and became intrigued by its metallic glow.

Encouraged to return home, she collected a few of the surreal fruits—and today keeps branches flush with the gaudy berries among her spines. She always makes sure to take a few minutes (or hours) out of her day to admire them!
