Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ever since Earth's Mightiest Magnet was born, she's been clinging to something. Her egg, accidentally struck by a Bolt Dragon, had to be forcefully pried out of the nest.

First, it was her mom's treasure hoard. Then it was a poor Lunar Herald. The next thing she knew, metals were sticking all over her. She could barely walk anywhere without a chunk of iron hitting her upside the head!

One night, a Copper Dragon crept into her family's cavern and flew across the chasm where they slept, scouring the walls for precious belongings. Before she could wake up, she started flying across the floor like a homing beacon, and shot straight onto the intruder's back. He tried to throw her off, but he couldn't reach the curve of his neck, and before long, he had made enough noise to alert the rest of the clan.

From then on, Earth's Mightiest Magnet has been the clan's best night guard-- as long as the invader is metallic, that is.
