Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys gathering pebbles and other small rocks and putting them in a pile.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The Plague of the Earth was the second egg to hatch. The Fog of the Plague was the first, and it covered the land of the dragon pack in a mysterious mist. The Plague of the Earth hatched in the foggy darkness, darting to and fro while placing eerie black pebbles in various places. Dragons who touched these pebbles would be unable to move for days on end.

As it hatched, "The plague is growing" could be heard amidst the fog.
