Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Catena doesn't fit in with the usual pink male stereo types. Most often, they are either so insecure about their own sexuality that they over do the male thing or so in touch with their feminine side they are mistaken as females in personality besides appearance.

But with Catena, he couldn't give a thought to what other dragons think of him. He does his own things and is extremely loose about others opinions of him. It is very hard to get underneath this dragon's skin.

But once you do, you might realize why his name is Nebbia for Chains. Catena is extremely controlling, desperate to be on top of every situation. While not needing to be the center of attention like his mom, he does have a certain insecurity about being alone.

It's not a fact he reveals to most others. Only those who get extremely close to him know; which is why with his self-assured, headstrong behavior, he has drawn in Zia. It may not last for this same reason.
