Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. An eternally-exasperated female, this dragon finds pretty much every other sentient being on earth to be quite stupid, and makes it a point to tell them so. Well known for her habit of rolling her eyes and running a paw tiredly down her brow, she's always swift to inform others of the thousand things that could go wrong with whatever they're attempting to do. When her annoyed targets ask her to come up with a better solution, however, she always answers that she's far too busy reflecting on things beyond their dull understanding to assist them with their mundane troubles.
