And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Casame Onyxwing, or just Casame to most, is a real prankster, often hiding things, setting booby traps and the like. More often than not it gets her into trouble, but she doesn't care in the least and hates to have to apologize. Ce Ai is her partner-in-crime, often getting her out of scrapes. Casame also has a very devil-may-care attitude, which is probably the other reason of her keeper's constant lamentations about her behavior.
