Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gerak Enya was, for a long time, an enemy of the clan. He would try to attack any dragon of the clan whenever they wandered near the border of the territory. He was a wild dragon, until Ombra De Morte, a fierce black dragon, injured him during one of his attacks. Instead of killing him, one of the healer dragons insisted that she bring Gerak to the cave. The Mistress, at first, did not want Gerak, as he had frequently tried to rally other dragons to attack the clan. But she decided that, if Gerak wanted to be healed, and would stop his attacks, he would be spared, and perhaps be given the opportunity to join the clan.

Gerak almost said no. But, upon seeing Kukulcani, a gentle daydream dragon, he decided that, as long as he would be respected, he would want to stay, just to be with 'Cani. Gerak is now one of the protectors of the clan, and is intent upon expanding it's territory.
