Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Highly irritable, and moody, Punji always seemed to have dark clouds following him around; since finding out his growth spurt had abruptly stopped. If anyone questions about gender or wings, the person would find mild showers above their heads constantly. When not sulking around, Punji often gazes at the other adult Grays, envying their ability to fly.
