Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
It was a time of fear, darkness, confusion. A lone guardian egg was lost in the madness. Since a lost frilled egg had come under their protection, the Wolfe Spirits had gazed upon the Places Where Eggs Might be Found, ever vigilant of eggs in need of their protection. The battle against the lagmonster was being won, and there was hope ahead. The guardian egg was seen abandoned in a glen. The Wolfe Spirits observed, but no one came forth to claim it. They took the egg under their protection, placing it alongside a young frilled hatchling. Strong and brave, the guardian hatched quickly. She and her companion grew together, keeping one another company. She was brave in all the ways he was not. They have been inseperable since her hatching. She is known as the one granted Protection from the LagMonster.
