Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After being given as a gift and transferred as a young hatchling, Apollo's Mystic Halo is a rather adamant and stubborn dragon.  He is extremely proud, especially of his lineage.  He spends most of his days bragging to the other dragons about his ancestors, and this pride has cost him many friends.

Apollo's Mystic Halo usually sits away from the other dragons, but gets along well with Mystic Silver Sliver, Lightrose Halo, and their mates, mostly since they came over from their old cave they were hatched in together.  He also tends to spend time with Mystic Golden Laurel, but for an unknown reason.  Their owner, Mikki, tends to think it is because they share the same color, but, if asked, they would deny this.
