White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flutefeather is the gentlest of her siblings, always happy and smiling. She is beautiful and graceful, her movements fluid and smooth. She wields a slender flute, whose lullabies hatchlings love to hear as they fall asleep. She is like a mother to all, her snowy wings soft, sheltering young ones and eggs from the cold. Her voice is like the tinkling of little bells with the ripple of water over round river stones, sweet and mothery. She loves currants and telling legends of dragons to little ones, or singing to them as they fall asleep. She is also an excellent strategist, thinking over both sides of a problem. Because of her vow to never harm a being, there is always one of her siblings near, ready to protect her if needed to. She is wise and a clever healer, one of the first choices when a dragon hurts him or herself or gets sick.
