Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a number of fleshy growths on its head and back.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

HappyGreenWing is a happy-go-lucky Spotted Greenwing Dragon hatchling. He's always in a good mood. He loves the outdoors, on warm nights he likes to go looking for wild animals to "play" with. And he bats them around then eats them. On rainy nights  he likes to go for short jogs in the rain, if it isn't a downpour. When the rain is pounding or it's a blizzard, HappyGreenWing stands in the mouth of his cave and watches the precipitation come down.
