Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Although his presence is majestic and intimidating, Airacle is actually extremely tender and sweet. Surprisingly, he takes over the role of a female's; feeding and caring for the younger skywings on Master's scroll. There have been rare sightings reported by other dragons that Airacle is capable of physically attacking other dragons when he wills himself to, but all the skywings know that it's because he is protective of those close to him and tries to drive anyone who is considered a threat away. His best friend is Iceable, and between them they have an unbreakable friendship, due to their many similarities such as being purebred skywings with interesting lineages. He tries to avoid the skywing AirWrath at all costs.

Airacle's name comes from mastering his flying skill at a very early stage as a hatchling. His parents, both proudly named after their Element -wind- decided that he was something of a miracle.
