Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Animatus the Ham of a Cheese, as she is called by the other dragons in the Kave Clan, is the goofiest, cleverest, most playful Cheese Dragon ever known to exist. She prefers to be called a female not liking the term "it", though she often makes jokes about her lack of a gender. Although all the dragons love her, her absolute best friend is Korr. Though Korr is not much of a joker, he seems to be drawn to her and even protects her when Nadine tries to nibble her tail. Her bouncy, joking nature compliments his quiet and serious one, allowing for the joke among the rest of the clan that they would be mates, if she could mate.
