Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A whimsical drifter, this dragon introduces himself only as one of "The Children of the Nameless," laughing cheerfully and deflecting any further attempts to determine his history or origins. Information on any other matter, however, he is quite happy to share--often to alarmingly good effect. His stories of heroism and brave quests stir the heart, while his warnings and tides of brewing wars or surges of monsters variously inspire people to flee to shelter or prepare to go forth and fight for the light. Despite these benevolent acts, however, he is often viewed with suspicion--due in no small part to the fact that, after they are seen speaking with him, many dragons who also lack known heritages vanish mysteriously into the night...
