Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Hikareus is a very nice and stubborn male hatchling. He likes mushrooms and the fairyflies, who live nearby the cave. He and the other hatchlings go often there to play with them and have a party. At those very unique celebrations they prepare food  that came from all over the forest and play games. They mostly also have Samehada to sing for them and every one gets drowsy because of the sweetness of her voice. Flitzthesoulreaper then has a hard time waking up all the dragons.
