Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This male was taken in at a young age by a most eccentric sorceress. She seemed slightly crazy, but she was also quite nice, so he got along with her just fine... until, that is, he found out the horrible truth: she was a demon who enjoyed coming up with tragic backstories for Sunsong dragons! Cackling all the while, she told the horrified young creature all about her past evils, about Sunsongs taken in as eggs and given moody names, about descriptions that make the normally hopeful, happy breed seem like tragic victims and downcast heroes. But just as she started to gleefully announce the horrible past she had imagined for HIS broody name, the panicked young Sunsong smashed his way through a window and took off, fleeing rapidly back into the jungle. Thankfully it was only a few hours later that some of the other resident Sunsongs arrived, laughing and reassuring the terrified youngster that she was just a mischievous creature whose imagined tales would do him no harm at all.
