Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Rogecrain is a survivor. He survived being abandoned by his parents, his egg's shell growing soft, a bad fever he had as an hatchling, and various other mistreatments. That's pretty much what virtually all the other dragons in the cave experienced also, so it's dubious why Rogecrain would claim the title of "the survivor" for himself alone, but he does. In his opinion the deprivations he endured were particularly dire. His fever was higher, his egg's shell softer, his loneliness greater than anyone's else. Other creatures certainly can't even begin to understand what it means to live through this hell. These unbelievable hardships made him outdo himself, though. He would appreciate being acknowledged for this and resents the lack of appreciation of his accomplishments. While being very courageous, he understandably still suffers from the severe subsequent damage of his traumatic upbringing, which others should be considerate of. They aren't, which he deems unfair and heartless.
