Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s rather plain looking, though.

And look! It has grown wings, and bright markings have developed all over its body.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pythei loves to play, but sometimes his idea of a game is not always fun for the other 'players'. One of his favorite 'games' is Hide and Seek. He will hide, and the 'seeker', who may or may not know they are seeking, has to 'find' him. The way the seeker knows they've found him is when he pounces at them from his hiding place. The seeker is usually unaware that he will do this when they get close to his hiding spot. Due to this behavior, his father decided to name him after the great pythons of the jungle.
