Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Loud and brash, Lexzos thinks that being the one and only Gold dragon in the colony gives him a special status nobody else can hope to attain. Simply put, he's untouchable. There are countless Mint dragons and thousands of Skywings, but Lexzos is one of the few Gold dragons. He is quick to get in fights with others, but just as swift to put the blame on someone else for starting the fight. In his mind, anything that isn't thought up by him is doomed to failure or will only succeed due to dumb luck, not because it was a brilliantly executed plan. While not the greatest at hunting, Lexzos is certain that the colony wouldn't have enough food if he wasn't there and scoffs at any bungles another dragon makes. Someone pointing out a mistake he himself made is rapidly dealt with through comments such as, "There's no problem! We all make mistakes!" Hypocrisy is the name of this Gold dragon, and like any true hypocrite, Lexzos doesn't believe the label of hypocrite can be applied to him.
