Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Miss Frozen Ice is extremely playful. She loves going outside just to run and fly around the cave. She can get a little rough when she plays with another hatchling and is extremely competitive. Miss Frozen Ice loves winning and thinks she's best at everything she does. If she loses a competition during the winter, she hides in the snow for days until her master drags her back to the cave.
