Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Temper meted with a fair bit of insanity... Dicey. Storm of the West is kept in check by her 'normal' sister Rain Chorus, who will beat some sense into Storm without hesitation if needs be, although there is a lot of love between them. On the odd time that she is a bit looney, she yells a lot and generally disturbs the peace, and even lightly cackles when she lashes something with a bolt of lightening. So far this has just been tree tops and rock faces, which is why the behaviour is tenuously tolerated. On the one occasion she was inteding to strike a living being, Shrel, the rest of the dragon's were on high guard, ready to kill her if necessary. Luckily, and to much impressing of the clan, Shrel sorted the situaion by simply standing his ground and smacking her nose. So suprised at the boldness of the much smaller creature, her unstable train of thought was derailed. She didn't exactly apologize, but she hasn't held a grudge, which is as good as can be hoped for.
