Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Omeai is a very righteous dragon, with only the best intentions at heart. She believes it's because of her genetics, having White blood in her and coming from two Soulpeace parents. She goes out of her way to brighten up others day, and the rarity of her breed has caused her to become well respected and liked. However, this has also drawn the unwanted attention of the Castle Master.
One of her well-known pastimes was to make an appearance at a well known village inside the castle territory every once in a while, knowing the sight of her would give them hope and strength, typically flying over, or just barely showing from the treeline. On one occasion though, she fell into a trap set up by the villagers, barely getting out alive, and her wings being damaged. Since then she hasn't gone back, and its said the villagers fear they're all cursed with bad luck for their sin of harming such a creature.
