Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Everlasting Elemental has one thing on her mind constantly. Food. She is always on the search for the best and most tender leaves, and she is willing to go to extremes to get them. She has been known to chase off other dragons when she wishes to graze where they are, and if they try to steal her grazing area or interrupt her while she is eating, she will usually charge at them and attack if they don't leave. She doesn't leave any other time to do anything else then what is necessary. She slowly gains weight in good conditions, and not just because she is taking more air in to float. She is extremely picky about the quality of what she eats. Usually the weight she does gain wastes away in hard times because she would rather starve then eat old and shriveled fruit and leaves. Winter is the hardest on her because the clear lack of food. Usually she migrates to warmer climates during winter to avoid having to eat bad food.
