Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Brimstone Dragons live in dry arid areas such as deserts where they feed mainly on sheep, goats and the occasional camel. Their favorite habitat is ideally situated close to the wastelands around active volcanoes. This is due to an important part of their diet—sulfur, which they obtain from deposits near volcanic gas vents. Instead of fire, these dragons use the sulfur they ingest to create a noxious gas which they store in their large throat pouches. When in danger, this gas is released in a large cloud. They also eat other mineral rich substances—including charcoal—and will drink the mineral rich (but slightly acidic) water commonly found in deserts and volcanic regions.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Sulphur Skunk is an extremely greedy Brimstone dragon. He also has a habit of laziness so he rarely hunts for himself. On normal circumstances he waits to see if Emerald has brought anything home from her daily hunt. When she doesn't, he turns to one of his secret stores of small rocks and volcanic minerals. Skunk is very large for a Brimstone and also quite broad. He doesn't enjoy the flying experience as much as others, preferring the sport of running. Often he will run over a flat plain for miles, jumping over rocks and boulders in the process. Skunk is a natural hurdler. Sulphur Skunk, due to his stores of sulphur, has very smelly breath. Many have tried to feed him mint leaves, but the smell of rotten eggs still seems to come through, hence the name Skunk. Sulphur Skunk lives down in one of the deepest caves of the mountain. There he hides his secret stores. His partner Emerald of the Earth, a Green dragon, lives in a nearby cave even deeper down.
