Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bashful and a little slow, Gzip feels that his flame-colored hide is a curse worse that Kzip's, for it seems as though fire is attracted to him when there is nothing he fears more.  Hearing that both dirt and water are used to put out fires, Gzip got the bright idea to retreat to mud pits and beaches every time he was afraid, getting so covered by both that eventually his nickname was "Muddy."

Like his father and brothers, Muddy has an eye for unknown objects, though he's usually just tripping over them in the mud and passes them on to one of his brothers as soon as he figures out whether it's properly a "land" object or a "sea" object.
