Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Although she was abandoned with but a few hours to live, Radiance of Hope was taken into the loving arms of the Dragon Swamp Community. The members—human and dragon kin alike- banded together to give the desperate egg love and attention until the small dragon was convinced to hatch and so saved from a gruesome death. Her name represents the fact that when many people ban together for a common cause great things can be achieved. The name given to her is there to remind any who know her of this great task that was accomplished.
