Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

A member of the noble Goldiblim family, Geschenk is a firm believer of the supremacy of noble blood, and ruled the clan's Gold community with an iron fist under such ideals. While he had his time abusing "lesser" Golds in the clan like Dinu Demir, his policy of enforcing his beliefs had ultimately led to his downfall when Daniella Kiana, a firm opponent of his draconian practices, was found to have an even purer lineage, which forced him to hand over the leadership as per the rules set by himself. He was heavily punished for his atrocities and is now little more than a laughing stock and an eternal shame to the community.
