Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nidaros loves showing off his fire-breathing skills. He quickly noticed as a hatchling that the tiny flames of fire shooting out(randomly) from his mouth and nose gave him attention. Now as he can blast a giant beam of fire without stopping for nearly 2 minutes he gets even more attention(especially from the female dragons who consider fire a very valuable thing for a dragon). Nidaros loves the late sunset, when the sun is turning red and almost disappear in the horizon. Then he likes to roam the sky, fly right towards the sun and blend in with his red skin.

His owner believes he has got a special connection with the sun, it is like they have the same spirit...A kind of untameable, wild spirit burning with fire.
