Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Snade Coppertooth is a copper dragon, who is very fast, with cyan coloured eyes who loves nothing more than to sprint anywhere and everywhere. He met his mate, Cerys Bronzewing, through the Courier Service. They were both racing home again and a challenge was flung up. If he managed to catch up to her then she would be his companion. He caught up to her. They were friends for what seemed many months, though in fact wasn't, and they discovered that they wanted to be more than friends and paired up, willing to be each other's life mates.
