Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Yaherint differs greatly from the first two male Guardian Dragons in his clan. With the first one thinking he is a Green Dragon and the other one being very lazy, Yaherint is extremely dangerous when guarding, like the female Guardian Feirono. He often challenges trespassing dragons to feel his wrath, and is known all around Mirsapia for being bad-tempered. Whenever around females, he isn't always successful with them, as they are afraid to upset him and try to get away. Yaherint's guarding job is protecting the clan's borders from unwanted wild dragons and other clans. Some suggest he should be a part of the Watch, but the clan leader Alanthorna states he is not worthy of it. When angered, Yaherint talks in a foul-mouth language and bellows loudly. His choice of a favorite place to guard is by a river because he thinks it "has more reality to a border".
