Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tsavortium TimidBreak (after the gemstone: Tsavorite Garnet) joined the clan cave as its 59th member. The Clan Mother noticed his egg hidden behind an outcropping, and quickly scooped it up for fear that the eggling inside would suffer without any heat or warmth. Little did she know, at the time, how warm this dragon would eventually be! Tsavortium is a peaceful dragon, although rather jittery and extremely shy. The clan elders say that they weren't really sure what species he was for quite some time after his hatching, since all he did was run away and hide. Since then, he struggles daily with his shortcoming, and endeavors each moment to overcome his bashfulness. He has formed an unexpected friendship with Amethystiez, who seems to serve as his protector, and often joins the winged horse-like dragon on his gallops through the fields and forests around the clan cave, perched securely on his back. These are the times he seems free of his tethers, and can truly fly!
