Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Perrine is often jokingly referred to as the clan's builder. If any other dragons want their caves expanded they call her. They get more space quicker than they could've done themselves, and Perrine gets another meal. The many varieties of stone that she has eaten can be seen in Perrine's outer shell. Soft streaks of a rusty red are left over from the iron-streaked rock that was Perrine's first meal after hatching. A golden glint around the edges of her wings are the only remainders of Rangan's beloved tail bracelets, bracelets that had taken him years to get. Her beautiful blue horn is the result of a cobalt stone that Hinewai had found near the bottom of a lake and proudly showed to the others, only to watch in dismay as it disappeared down Perrine's throat.

Perrine does not entirely understand the concept of ownership. If she's hungry she'll eat whatever is around, no matter how precious.
