Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like the other Pink Dragons of his scroll, Cyril possesses the epithet "Ryuushinsei", which is Japanese and means "Dragon Parental Star".

He was named after a Saint of Jerusalem who was known as a bishop and a doctor. Although Cyril does not possess healing magic power, he is able to heal one's heart. If a dragon of his scroll is troubled or needs someone to talk to, he will offer his help, listening to the poor fellow until he has calmed down. He never criticizes or scolds them, but only gives them the opportunity to say what they have buried deep in their hearts.

Unfortunately, there are some dragons who do not agree with his methods. They claim that he is too soft and spoils the younger dragons. Although he takes notice of it, he does not show any sign that he tries to change.
