When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Utaseyu lives in an enormous natural hot spring, which is connected to a winding river and a sandy cove by the sea. On rare occasions, she makes her way down the waterfall but the other dragons find this frustrating. Her adulthood-weakened limbs are awkward when she wants to go back up, so she asks one of the larger dragons if they'll carry her instead. During the summer she enjoys sunning her coils on the hot spring rocks, to cool herself down while still staying warm. All of the eggs brought to these mountains are placed near or in the warm shallows, where Utaseyu tends to them. Because of this, the others are less inclined to fuss about the fact they have to bring her food. Her favorite requests include tuna and seaweed but when the males bring her courtship offerings, she accepts nothing less than squid, shark, or swordfish.
