Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling is completely ordinary...until it comes to potatoes. The truth is, for reasons unknown, he gets angry when he sees them. Very angry. So angry, in fact, that he often tries to burn them with his small flames. He never really succeeds at destroying the potatoes, and often, he accidentally cooks them just right. As a result, some dragons who don't want to waste the time preparing their own potatoes must simply allow I HATE POTATOES to get a glimpse of the vegetable. Unfailingly, he will scramble over and try to burn the potato to death in a rage, the tiny flames from his mouth cooking the potato to perfection. As a result, although he resents the dragons taking advantage of him, I HATE POTATOES must always cook their potatoes, as he can't resist trying to kill the vegetables. He hasn't been able to do any real damage to them yet, but that may change. Someday, he might discover a deadlier way to inflict fatal wounds on the potatoes that he hates with all of his might.
