Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fresh was born as a captive dragon, originally adopted by a lineage-researching tamer's guild. He was planned to have many offspring, but in the end, Fresh broke out of his prison and decided to live freely. He sometimes states, that his last name is "Air", not "Heir". Nicknamed "Freshy" or "Freedom" by most of his dragon friends, Fresh only relies on his family and highly distrusts others. He is mostly envious of the other pink dragons' life, due to their flawless and not-so-disturbing pasts. Sometimes, Fresh wished he had never been born in chains...
