Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
One would not
expect to find
any beauty in the
hot desert
But if one were
to look at the
blooming cacti flowers
the colorful desert gems
and the shimmering silver surface
of the desert ponds
they would see the magnificent
beauty of the desert
Not many dragons
see this
though they do dwell
in the desert
They are simply too busy
with their daily lives
to notice
the beautiful desert
the mysterious desert...
But there is one dragon
who does not miss them
his name is The Abandoned Spitfire
such a fitting name for
himself, as he says
for he was once
an abandoned hatchling.
Soon he discovered
that there was a magnificent
desert next to where
his cruel owner left him to die
and he noticed the beauty of the desert
almost immediately
The sparkling oasis
the pretty shrub flowers
the strange desert critters
retreating into their intricate burrows
to escape the heat of day
he noticed them as he flew above the sands
and he began to realize
that he might just be lucky
that he was left here
after all.
