Coastal Waverunners spend most of their time skimming the waves along the coast, snatching up their prey from the shallow waters. They have developed markings along the leading edges of their body that help disguise them as breaking waves. When they are not hunting, they enjoy playing among sand-dunes and shallow tide-pools. These dragons live in small but noisy rookeries. Some stories say Waverunners can fly for days on end without landing.
To say this dragon likes seafood is a vast understatement. She skims the surface of the water looking for a variety of fresh creatures and seaweed to gather. Once she has enough, she takes it to shore and prepares it for sharing.
Presentation of the food is everything to Soosheesheff. She has developed great skill at using her claws to slice up and arrange the things she collects into appealing portions perfect for dragons. Once she has the food set into an interesting display, she has her friends help her eat it all.
She has a large number of friends; many of them make a point of dropping in while she is busy arranging the food. Everyone loves watching Soosheesheff in action.
