Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A happy little dragon who serves as a waiter in an aquarium-themed restaurant, the rich and haughty will pay extra to have a teeny-tiny water dragon bring them their meals. The poor innocent doesn't realize he's just an attraction to those snobs, but believes full-heartedly that they really LIKE him; accordingly, a kindly member of the staff always has to escort him off after he delivers so he doesn't bother the mean-but-well-paying patrons. Another bad habit of his is that he gets mesmerized by the fish swimming about the tanks of the place, or sometimes tries to go swimming with them. But despite the trouble he can cause with this, the staff love him dearly and swap him around, making sure he always has a warm, loving home to go to at night.
