Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Darlas egg came into the cave under a cloud of suspicion and fear. Many of the dragons didnt know what would hatch out of this cold, dead egg, and those that did feared it. Thelonious reluctantly took charge of the egg and the undead hatchling that came from it, since nobody else would. From the beginning she manipulated her adopted father, trying to turn him against the other dragons in the cave. Eventually, her treachery was revealed when she bit one of the eggs in the cave and killed it. The magick-users of the cave then performed a ritual to restore her soul and conscience, to prevent any other deaths. She has since become somewhat of a recluse, friendly to any dragon that approaches her but seeking out the company of only her own family. She still carries a deep burden of guilt for the crimes that she committed when she was young.
