Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unlike Renade, his 'sister' upon his home-ship, Willwind knows how good a flier he is. His catchphrase is "When there's a Will, there's a wind." Willwind loves attention as much as Eric does, but instead of flaunting about it like the Electric dragon, he plays it cool. His calm confidence, bordering on arrogance, sets off Eric every time, so whenever these two are in the same room, there's bound to be a storm brewing. Outside the rivalry, however, Will has extraordinarily strong weather powers, but has little control over them. He almost sank a ship, with his family in it, in a rage. After that incidence, he has become scared of his abilities and has never tried to use them again.
