Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonglow isn't the most social dragon in the Zoriniath clan, and prefers to make detailed maps of the stars at night. Her day is usually spent reading everything she can find on the subject. Sometimes she goes to great lengths to find an old leather-bound tome from an eccentric astronomer that's long been gone. She deeply admires Starfury, for his beautiful starry wings, and would try to have him for her mate if he wasn't already mates with Redstorm, the caretaker of the eggs. Starfury has no idea of her love for him, but enjoys having long talks with her about the stars.
