Swallowtail Dragons are graceful and quick flyers, much like their namesake bird. They are capable of precise aerial acrobatics, and can reach very high altitudes. Because of this, humans observing these dragons are often astonished at how large they are when confronted up close. A Swallowtail’s diet consists of insects and small mammals plentiful in temperate forests. These dragons are also made remarkable by their paper-thin wing membranes, which allow light to pass through, creating an astonishing effect on starry nights.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Runa is a very sweet dragon with a fiery personality. Her friends would say that she is generally very kind and gentle, but she is also hardheaded and has a strong sense of justice. If she chafes against a rule or policy, which is constantly, of those superior to her, be they parents, school masters, or even the leaders of her clan, she will fight with her bright ideals of equality and fairness (and usually end up getting burned for her rebellion). Her strong will and self-esteem protect her from hurtful words of others, but she tends to forget that not everyone is as steadfast as she is, making her come across as rude and selfish even though she never means the awful things she says. When forced to apologize it's never sincere, but only because the insult itself wasn't sincere. However, the only ones who see this ugly albeit independent side of her are strangers in public or her own family with whom she argues constantly.
