Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Poltergheist is an energetic dragon that loves to mess with the minds of his victims. Quick-witted, with a sharp mind, he does indeed love to rave other whiptails, but might use trickery to make his victory a source of laughter for others. He doesn't prank to hurt: he does it to give others something to laugh over. Dark bronze scale with slim silver stripes going horizontally down his back and becoming solid silver on his tail, his horns are straight and shimmer gold. An extra-hard, arrowhead-shaped scale on the tip of his tail is used as a last-resort defense when fleeing isn't an option, and his hind legs, from the knee down, fade to a matte black. His golden eyes hold warmth and a playful spirit, but when angered they shift to a venomous yellow.
