Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
In his own mind, Pogra is the hero of a never-ending series of ballads and epic poems, which he composes to himself. Most of this is only semi-conscious, so he doesn't deliberately share his compositions. Like an actor on stage, he is too preoccupied by the effort of portraying, as grandly as possible, his role—himself—but a verse or two may slip out when he is feeling particularly impassioned.
Most of the other dragons at the Breedery find him grandiose, pretentious, even megalomaniacal, but a few find his theatrical ways entertaining. The local pygmies love to focus their pranks on him, so he can have 'dastardly deeds' to rail against. Regardless, Lurhstaap prefers to ride Pogra when visiting human society; unlike many other local dragons, Pogra doesn't mind being ridden. It means getting to wear many-jeweled ornaments from his hoard while parading his magnificently golden-bright self in front of admiring eyes (dragon or human). Vanity, thy name is Pogra.
