As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Much unlike her mother, Lilac Sunshine, Moonlight is very shy and quiet, preferring to stay in the background of things and not get caught into any trouble. She doesn't enjoy fighting, but she will if necessary. She cares deeply about the other members of the clan, and will help White Dragons in healing hurt members by gathering the needed herbs and plants. She isn't very confident in herself, but she will stand up for what she believes if need be.
