White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Oded's name is a combination of Latin and Hebrew, used to mean "To restore the light." While not nearly the most exciting person to be around, Oded is quite optimistic and very encouraging in every situation. When any of the young dragons are troubled, or even the elders, they know they'll find a comforting wing and a listening ear with Oded. Due to his position, he rarely has opportunity in which to show the extent to which he can be cunning, which is never directed towards someone's harm. On occasion however, he has directed a young dragon's choices for the better through subtlety, and he always keeps a watchful eye on the developing morals of the hatchlings as they mature.
