Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a number of fleshy growths on its head and back.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This young dragon was once a grown adult, with great green wings and a small family of a mate and three rambunctious children. But then it was stolen from the wild and experimented on. The effects of these experiments typically wore off, but the final spell placed upon them is by far the cruelest. They are cursed to age backwards forever, and this spell has finally stopped, leaving them small, frail, and newborn. For a time they were kept in a cage in a shop of oddities, but recently they were purchased and released into their new keeper's gardens. They now live a peaceful life, spent collecting flowers and arranging pebbles in meticulous patterns.
