It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Femurasaki is the matriarch of the brood of dragons cared for by KooriRenchuu.  She is the penultimate grandmother figure, dispensing wisdom to those who need it.  She is kind and gentle to the other dragons, but has a stern side when the time calls for it.  She is somewhat saddened by the fact that Koori doesn't visit her much.  With Sawbones Junior, she helps the brood maintain order.  She is the kinder of the two, even though Sawbones Junior is a white dragon.  She also has the role of checking on the eggs every once in a while to see if they have soft shell syndrome.  She reports this to Koori in order to keep the eggs alive.  Koori has failed twice in his duties, but Femurasaki forgives him for it.
